The Drevja flows from the beautiful lake of Drevvatnet to Holandsvika where it meets salt water in the Vefsn fjord. The river is divided into into two main areas – upstream and downstream the Forsmo waterfall, where the barrier for anadrome fish is based. Near the fjord you will find wider beats where you will feel the advatages of the tidal levels and migration of fish.  The Drevja is a beautiful river, and the most intimate of the anadrome waters in the region. It is amazing to experience large fish suddenly jumping near you when wading here. Drevja has a large variety of beats – and is easily fished also by single hand rods. Te upper part of the river also holds a impressive population of brown trout in addition to salmon and seatrout. Dry fly fishing is a beautiful experience here.
