This area is unique with 4 lakes that are connected to each other by rivers. In 2024 these lakes and rivers are now spooning grounds to anadrome fish as well as for the very nice brown trout population in the area. This due to the opening of the fish barrier in the Forsmo waterfall. Below this waterfall the lower Fusta flows down to the Vefsn fjord. The lower Fusta is amazing and known as the trophy part of this river. The smaller rivers between lakes will hold salmon and seatrout in the future, this is a very exiting period for these waters and we are eager to follow the journey.
